Hey everyone! Long time no post. We've been busy, but who isn't?
September went by in a blur. That always happens on rotations when Stephen has a great schedule! We got lots of family time in together.
Stephen has been on his Cardiology service this month which means long hours, but as usual he's doing well! He actually has enjoyed this rotation despite the hectic schedule.
The beginning of the month brought a wonderful visit with one of my best friends from Huntington, Ashley, and her little baby girl Lydia! We had a blast catching up and watching our kids play! They were just so cute together!
David and I enjoyed a quick trip to NH to see my parents on their lake. We enjoyed a freak warm front. It was actually warmer up there than here in SC that week. It was also the last weekend before the boat had to come out of the water so it was such a blessing! We went on 3 boat rides a day! We also got to worship at my parents new church, and go apple picking! We also ate a lobster dinner with the biggest lobster I've ever seen! It was a really wonderful visit. David absolutely loved it up there, and the plane ride. I'm so happy he's so great in the airport. Traveling with him is mostly a breeze.

When we got home life went on as usual for a few weeks. We went pumpkin picking at Boone Hall Farms here in our town, which included a hay ride, and lots of fun activities for David. This was also Stephen's 28th birthday! We came home and celebrated with some yummy dinner and cake.
Just last week David decided that diapers weren't for him anymore, Buzz Lightyear underpants were much more appealing and he basically potty trained himself in a matter of a couple days! All praise goes to God on that one for giving him the courage to leave yet another "baby" part of his life.
We're gearing up for Halloween. We haven't really figured out how trick or treating is going to go with his peanut allergy this year. I think we'll let him trick or treat, but we'll have to toss most of the candy. We've found a few "peanut free" options like Smarties, Junior Mints, and Tootsie Roll Pops, but it'll be nerve wrecking every year for us. This year he's going as a Doctor! Here's a peek at the costume from when we went to our Auxiliary's Costume Parade!
Hope everyone is well! We're praising God in all things. We are enjoying the blessings and changes that He brings with the beautiful season of Fall! Love you!
