I'm generally a positive gal though, so instead of recounting all the things that went wrong in August (and it would be long list anyway), I'll just say YAYYYYYY FOR SEPTEMBER!
This morning I took David on a walk and it was NICE outside! I was kind of amazed. For the entire month of August it was miserable. Imagine you step outside and immediately someone throws a wet blanket over your head that covers your entire body... oh and it's 100 degrees outside. The simple act of getting into the car and buckling your seat belt makes you start sweating like you're halfway through a Zumba class. It's gross. September comes with the promise of cooler weather. I'm not kidding myself thinking I'll have to wear a sweater until at least the end of November, but maybe now we can get out and go on a walk in the morning! We have rediscovered our little neighborhood park. It's always shaded, and we're usually the only people there (bliss). We also have been taking walks in the evening on our pier here, which we love!
Aside from being outside more, Stephen gets to be home more! He's doing a really awesome elective rotation where he's home at 5 or earlier, and has THREE DAY WEEKENDS! What?? Can you see why I'm so excited about September?
On the baby front, we're still talking about where God is leading us next. The doctor advised us to wait a month, we might wait longer, or not, still not sure. I'm trying to focus on the blessings we have now, being healthy, and leaning on the providence of God.
So good riddance, August! Welcome, September! Please be kinder to us!
