Well this week has been a wild and crazy ride!! Poor Stephen's been working his tushy off with q4 call of 30 hr shifts, and one day off out of 10. He is being so tough and rarely (if ever) complains. God definitely created him for this job, I have no doubt. I babysat a bunch this week and on Friday David got a high fever (103.4) which scared the poop out of me. He's never been so pitiful but the Doc couldn't find anything wrong so she chopped it up to "virus of the day" and sent him home. We made it through the day and the next day before it got really bad. Patty and Ed were visiting and Saturday night David spent most of the night crying in pain, the only comfortable place was laying on my chest upright in the recliner being rocked for hours. He finally let me put him down around 3am and I slept on the couch with the monitor next to me (Stephen was on call the next day). It was rough! The next day David's Pedi met us in the office and behold, a raging ear infection!! Not at all what she saw on Friday, but at least we had an answer! He's been on the mend since he got some antibiotics, and boy are we glad!!!
Here's hoping this week is less eventful!
Oh, and it's back in the upper 80s here... the jacket hanging on the back of the closet door is mocking me. Oh well.

I LOVE this, Mandy!!! haha :) I loved watching David the Gnome, and I love how clever you are turning your little David into a gnome for Halloween! Now you just need to teach him to say "Schlitzviet!" or whatever that word was he said at the end of the show :) Too cute!!!
