What? Is it summer again? Oh, wait... no, I just live in Charleston now. The weather can't make up it's mind! One day it is cool, breezy and beautiful, the next it is hot and humid. I have both summer and winter wardrobes at the ready for whatever it may be in the morning. Ha!
Things here are busy. Stephen is working 80 hrs a week (no that isn't a typo) or more, and I'm home with a full up toddler! David is walking everywhere!! I love it, he looks so cute just wobbling around. Everyone said to me "just watch out! Now the fun begins! and You're life will never be the same" when they learned he was learning to walk... wanna know a secret?? It isn't much different than when he was crawling. He was all over the place then and could get into everything he wanted, its just now he's not on the nasty carpet.
For now, we are surviving. I make it until nap, then I make it until bedtime, then I start over in the morning. It is an amazing, wonderful, crazy ride. Watching a baby grow into a little person is amazing. Watching the love of my life grow from a kid in college to a doctor, even though it pulls him away from me, is also amazing.
Things aren't always easy, but it is all worth it.
