I found this blog while stumbling on other blogs and I just really thought it was awesome. It really spoke on how I feel about this whole topic! I wrestle all the time with how I'm going to raise David in this crazy sinful world. How on earth will he escape the things of the earth waiting to destroy his character. I just loved how she puts it into perspective that it isn't simply the boundaries and rules we put on our children, but how we live and model our lives that matters. Most importantly how we show them that WE FAIL TOO. Too much sheltering causes a false sense of the world, and even their family. If I never own up to mistakes... eventually he's going to see hypocrisy in me because I MAKE MISTAKES. So yeah, I don't usually post other blogs (especially people I really don't know at all) on here, but it spoke to me so maybe it'll speak to some of my other mommy friends who read this.
