Random thoughts

I just heard a loud crash in my kitchen. I looked up, but decided I'd investigate later. David is right next to me so it must not be anything too critical.

I'll be happy when one day all of the boxes in my pantry aren't white with blue letters that say "Great Value." The other day I was trying to find the box of "Boil in Bag" rice and I stood there for way too long scanning each box. I passed over it several times because ALL THE BOXES LOOK THE SAME! I am happy though that Walmart makes affordable alternative snacks for my family to enjoy.

I had a dream the other day that I was friends with Woody from Toy Story. He and I were having a great time... I need therapy, or to just disconnect my DVD player.

David has taken to REPEATING EVERYTHING I SAY. So I have to be super careful with my language. He said "Oh crap" the other day. I pretended I didn't hear it, but he said it. Not the proudest mommy moment.

If David is eating something and he sees something he'd rather eat or do, he'll just spit out whatever is in his mouth onto the floor, his lap, whatever. It's so gross, I have scolded but he doesn't seem to get it.

I talk myself out of going to Bojangles for lunch pretty much every day... I don't think this is normal.

In one week, both of our cars have been in the shop. What is THAT about? Thankfully for fairly minor repairs, but its still annoying.

I'm SO thankful Stephen is starting a more sane rotation tomorrow and he'll get weekends off!! I won't know what to do with all our free time together. Excited to figure it out though!

We had our allergist appointment for David and it really freaked me out. I check every label and I never leave home without his epi pens. As if we weren't OCD enough with David!

I live in a tropical environment so I have accepted that it is hot here, especially in July and August. I do however have MAJOR "fall envy" for all my facebook friends in WV and up north who are posting about buying cute new sweaters because it's getting brisk. Fall is my favorite and alas, SC sucks at fall. Leaves don't change or fall, the air doesn't ever feel "brisk," and it won't get chilly until December and then it will be COLD. Don't worry I'm going to put my big girl panties on and deal with it, I'm just sayin.

Well that's that. Call it rants, call it random thoughts whatever. Its just whats going on in my world! Such an exciting life I lead! :-)
