This week was a bit of a roller coaster! Monday started out with the peanut thing. I already posted about that, but here's a pic of my sweet David in the ER. Watching Elmo, hooked up to the pulse ox monitor. So glad he is ok!
I also totally regret the glass (ok two glasses) of wine I had that day trying to come down from the anxiety I was feeling because the next day this happened....
Yep!! That's right!! Baby #2 is on his/her way! We are beyond thrilled. I found out Tuesday, the day after our worst nightmare, came our second biggest BLESSING! So funny how God works like that.
The baby is due April 8th, Easter Sunday!!! I just find this so special too. The day of new life, is when our little one is due. Of course, I'll be having another c-section so the baby will likely be born at the end of March.
I told Stephen (who was at work when I took the test) by buying a book for David called "I'm a big Brother!" and told David to show Daddy his new book. He was shocked but excited! We've told our whole family too and everyone seems thrilled. I'm so excited for David to have a little sibling. We will be finding out what it is and we WILL name this child earlier than 24 hours after he/she is born like we did with David! Hahaha!
We are a little nervous about the pre-ecclampsia. When you have a complicated pregnancy, it is like a cloud hanging over you. We need prayers to keep the pre-ecclampsia away. We want a full term, healthy baby. I'd like to experience what it's like holding my baby the day he/she is born. I'd like to know what it's like to go home from the hospital WITH a baby this time. Just please pray that all goes according to plan.
I know only a few of you read this blog, but I wanted to share! Haven't put anything on Facebook quite yet. I'll come up with something.
Love to all!
Congratulations!!!! I was hoping when I saw the Oh Brother title that you were referring to David being a brother! I'll keep you in my prayers... here's to a healthy pregnancy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeannie!! Praying for you too! We're pregnant together this time! :-)
