It's been a week since our loss. I realized I really hate the word miscarriage. Don't feel bad if you say it around me or anything, I've even caught myself saying it. To me, that word is just too medical. It doesn't capture all the emotions around it, it just makes it a diagnosis. Even worse is what was on my medical records, SAB... spontaneous abortion. Yikes.
I'm doing better. The Lord has been comforting as only He can comfort. I'm surrounded by amazing support from friends and family near and far. It's been a blessing and a curse the fact that I told everyone right away about our pregnancy. I'm glad I told though because otherwise I wouldn't have had half of the support I would have through it all. Having said that, I'm not exactly sure I'll tell the world the second when/if we get pregnant again. We'll just have to see.
